Eurogliders - This Island [CD]

This album features the Eurogliders, formed in 1980 by Bernie Lynch and Amanda Vincent. Originally named "Living Single," they later became Eurogliders with Grace Knight as lead vocalist. Signing with Polydor and then CBS, their breakthrough came with the 1984 album "This Island," featuring the hit single "Heaven (Must Be There)." Subsequent hits like "We Will Together" and "Can't Wait to See You" cemented their success, with the album "Absolutely" spending 47 weeks in the Australian charts. Eurogliders toured extensively worldwide from 1984 to 1986.
